Overview

Anna Boyer is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Houston office. Ms. Boyer focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures and commercial agreements, particularly in the energy and transportation industries.

Ms. Boyer has extensive experience in upstream and midstream oil and gas matters, with a particular emphasis on the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas assets. She also advises clients on various oil and gas commercial agreements, including master services agreements.

As part of her background in the transportation industry, Ms. Boyer has represented numerous auto dealerships in their buy-sell transactions and advised clients in the navigation of the various components of these transactions, including manufacturer approval and state requirements.

During law school, Ms. Boyer was an articles editor for the Houston Law Review.

Represented Murchison Oil & Gas LLC, a privately held independent oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of oil and gas resources in the United States, in its sale of Midland Basin assets to Langford Energy Partners, a privately held oil and gas operating company
Represented Grey Rock Investment Partners in a $1.3 billion business combination with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) backed by former U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan to form Granite Ridge Resources (NYSE: GRNT)
Advised INEOS Energy in the company's entrance into the U.S. onshore oil and gas market with the acquisition of a portion of Chesapeake Energy's oil and gas assets in the Eagle Ford shale in South Texas for $1.4 billion
Represented Alpha Energy Partners LLC in a sale of non-operated working interests in the Permian Basin to Northern Oil and Gas Inc. for $157.5 million
Advised Legacy Star Capital Partners in its internal reorganization and formation of a new acquisition entity, Peak 10 Hermleigh LP (Peak 10), and the acquisition by Peak 10 of non-operated upstream oil and gas assets in Scurry and Fisher Counties in the Permian Basin

Represented Beyer Auto Group in its sale of a majority of its dealership assets to Open Road Capital, an automotive retail-focused investment firm backed by Bain Capital
Represented Sunrise Auto Group, a Memphis-based General Motors dealer in business for more than 35 years, in its sale of Sunrise Buick GMC Covington Pike and related real estate to Jim Keras Automotive Group, a family-owned automotive dealership group
Represented River States Truck & Trailer, a dealer of new and used heavy duty trucks and trailers in Wisconsin and Minnesota, in its sale of La Crosse Truck Center Ford to Dahl Automotive, an owner of 11 Wisconsin and Minnesota-based automotive dealerships
