Overview

Christian de la Osa is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office and a member of the firm's Corporate Services Team. Mr. de la Osa focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity and general corporate matters.

In addition, Mr. de la Osa represents insureds and underwriters in connection with transactional risk products, including the issuance of representations and warranties insurance (RWI) policies.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. de la Osa obtained his master's degree in accounting and worked for a local accounting firm. Mr. de la Osa is also a certified public accountant (CPA).

During law school, Mr. de la Osa was a member of the University of Miami Law Review.

Represented an investment firm and its portfolio company in an acquisition of a provider of advanced battlespace simulation, modeling and visualization software used by numerous military and intelligence groups
Represented a private equity firm and its portfolio company in an acquisition of a nationally recognized leader in the research and development of polyimides and polyimide-based thin film structures
Represented a telecommunications and infrastructure construction company in a strategic acquisition in the energy infrastructure sector
Represented a private equity firm in its acquisition of a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance, repair and replacement services company
Represented a leading specialty distributor of critical power components in connection with an acquisition
Represented a private equity fund in its acquisition of a clinical trial solutions company
Represented a private equity firm in its investment in a provider of engineering services and software
Represented a private equity fund in its acquisition of a provider of information technology (IT) services
Represented Sayres Defense, a leader in defense mission support services to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Defense and broader national security community and a portfolio company of Broadtree Partners, in its add-on acquisition of Global Systems Technologies, a recognized leader in aviation security, through Sayres Defense's subsidiary, Joint Research and Development (JRAD)
Represented a healthcare private equity fund and its portfolio company in a series of add-on acquisitions of primary care practices
Represented LMC Landscape Partners, a leading provider of professional landscape management services and a portfolio company of Trivest Partners, in its add-on acquisition of Cutters Edge Total Landscape Solutions, a leader in the commercial landscaping industry
Represented a Florida-based field marketing organization focused on healthcare insurance, and its majority shareholders, in its partnership with Alliant Insurance Services Inc., one of the nation's leading distributors of diversified insurance products and services
Represented Broadtree Partners, a private equity firm, in its acquisition of Joint Research and Development (JRAD), a leading provider of test and evaluation services, total life cycle acquisition support, medical and public health preparedness, and science and technology research and development to government customers
Represented a private equity firm on its acquisition of Zodega Landscaping, a provider of full-service landscaping and lawn care services in Texas
