Overview
Tori Deal is a public affairs advisor in Holland & Knight's Tallahassee office and a member of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group. Ms. Deal focuses on client support in legislative and public policy, as well as providing private and public sector clients guidance on action needed to further the agendas of clients and organizations, combining government relations, communications and issue management.
Ms. Deal brings substantial knowledge in state governmental affairs and has experience interacting with key leaders and staff of all executive branch agencies in serving the state of Florida.
In addition to handling a variety of business and environmental issues, Ms. Deal assists clients with equestrian lobbying and government consulting, and she advocates for policies and regulations beneficial to the equestrian community. Leveraging her knowledge of equine matters and governmental processes, she guides clients with navigating legislative landscapes, promoting issues such as equine welfare, land use for equestrian activities, and funding for equestrian programs to help ensure the sustainability and growth of the equestrian industry.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Deal served as the senior executive assistant and advisor to the secretary of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), where she worked to support the department's mission to protect, conserve and manage the state's natural resources and enforce its environmental laws while creating strong community partnerships.
