Overview
David Ehrlich is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Mr. Ehrlich focuses his practice on advising financial sponsors and corporate clients across a broad range of complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising and deployment activities, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, commercial transactions, operational counseling, corporate reorganizations and general corporate governance. He has worked with clients across a number of sectors and industries, including defense technology, aerospace, government services, space launch, cybersecurity, telecommunications, logistics and supply chain management, and industrials, among others.
Mr. Ehrlich's approach to legal advice is informed by his experience serving as chief counsel and investment committee member for a private investment firm focused on control investments in the North American defense, government, aerospace, telecommunications and critical infrastructure sectors. In that role, Mr. Ehrlich was responsible for all legal and compliance activities for the investment firm and its partnerships, funds, investment vehicles and portfolio companies. Because his background includes first-hand experience in principal investment, Mr. Ehrlich is able to provide clients with support and advice informed by a keen understanding of their goals and objectives across the full spectrum of the investment management life cycle.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Ehrlich was a corporate attorney in the New York office of a global law firm. Mr. Ehrlich also served more than seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves as a logistics officer focused on strategic planning and execution, as well as executive and operational leadership.
