Ashley Fisher

Ashley Fisher is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the firm's Data Strategy, Security & Privacy Team. Ms. Fisher's experience includes advising clients on privacy and cybersecurity compliance programs with regard to data protection laws, including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), other comprehensive U.S. state privacy laws, European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). She also helps clients evaluate the privacy and security risks posed by potential acquisition or merger targets and notification requirements under state data breach laws.

Ms. Fisher is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US) and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

While in law school, Ms. Fisher was a corporate counsel extern at a medical device company assisting with compliance on data privacy issues, including CPRA, Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Fisher was an associate in the data, privacy and cybersecurity practice of a global law firm in its Boston office.
