Danielle N. Garno

Danielle Garno is a transactional and litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami and Los Angeles offices and serves as a co-chair of the firm's Entertainment Law Team. Ms. Garno focuses her practice on issues faced by the fashion community, including startup phase and commercial advice, intellectual property such as trademark and copyright infringement, social media marketing, licensing, digital assets, advertising and marketing, as well as general business litigation.

Ms. Garno represents luxury brands and fashion clients of all sizes from startups to multinational, global brands, helping them navigate through legal issues as well as counseling them on growing and sustaining a successful brand.

In addition, Ms. Garno has significant experience in handling white collar criminal matters and complex civil fraud cases on behalf of companies and individuals, as well as advising on regulatory and compliance matters. When necessary, she also manages internal investigations and represents clients before state and federal regulatory bodies.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Garno was an attorney in the entertainment and media group for an international law firm in its Miami office.

Ms. Garno has written extensively and lectured all over the United States on topics relating to fashion law and also serves as an adjunct professor in Fashion Law at the University of Miami School of Law.
