Overview

Jordan M. Goldstein is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office and a member of the Corporate Services Team. Mr. Goldstein focuses his practice on public and private companies, including private equity funds and venture capital funds. Mr. Goldstein advises clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities laws and other general corporate governance matters. Mr. Goldstein also advises on the Corporate Transparency Act, which has widespread application to privately held companies and their beneficial owners.

While in law school, Mr. Goldstein participated in a year-long startup clinic in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) community, where he provided strategic legal and business advice to startups, assisting student entrepreneurs with corporate, transactional and intellectual property issues. Additionally, Mr. Goldstein volunteered with the Federal Tax Clinic at Harvard Law School, where he provided pro bono legal representation to underserved members of the Boston community by advising on tax controversy issues at the IRS examination and appeals levels.

Prior to law school, Mr. Goldstein was a senior associate at a Big Four accounting firm, where he focused extensively on tax consulting and compliance for hedge funds, private equity funds and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
