Overview

Angela M. Jimenez is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Tysons office. Ms. Jimenez focuses her practice on government investigations and enforcement, compliance, white collar defense and civil litigation.

Ms. Jimenez has experience representing individuals and corporations against criminal or civil actions brought on by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and qui tam relator actions brought under the civil False Claims Act (FCA). She has represented clients in investigative, regulatory and trial matters, including DOJ and Inspector General (IG) investigations, procurement fraud investigations and internal investigations.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Jimenez served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Margaret B. Seymour in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. 

While in law school, Ms. Jimenez worked as a legal assistant/paralegal for the Civil Fraud Section in the DOJ's Commercial Litigation Branch, where she worked primarily on complex FCA cases involving healthcare and procurement fraud. She also interned with the Honorable Judge James L. Cott of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and served as a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.

Ms. Jimenez is committed to helping others in her community. She actively engages in pro bono work related to family law and immigration matters.
