Overview

William Kent is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chattanooga office. Mr. Kent advises privately held companies, long-term holding companies, private equity sponsors and venture capital firms in a broad range of transactional, corporate and securities matters. From mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions to general corporate matters, Mr. Kent has closed transactions ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to more than $1 billion. Clients in the healthcare, manufacturing, technology, hospitality and retail sectors value his counsel on both strategic and operational matters.

His practice involves:

representing sellers and buyers in both public and private company transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures
advising companies in a broad range of general corporate matters, including commercial contract negotiation, equity transactions and general business matters

Represented Elevate ENT Partners in its add-on acquisition of Vero ENT Associates, a Florida-based leading provider of comprehensive ear, nose and throat care
Represented Elevate ENT Partners in its add-on acquisition of Louisiana Ear, Nose, Throat and Sinus, a leading provider of ear, nose, throat and sinus treatment in Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities
Represented Capital Alignment Partners in its acquisition of American Pavement Preservation LLC, a Western asphalt preservation company
Represented Capital Alignment Partners and American Pavement Preservation LLC, a Western asphalt preservation company, in its combination with Cactus Asphalt
