Overview

Bailey McHale is a government contracts attorney in Holland & Knight's Tysons office. Ms. McHale focuses her practice primarily on litigation, including bid protests, as well as regulatory compliance and corporate due diligence.

In addition, Ms. McHale assists in bid protests and claims before the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC) and agency-level protests. She often conducts due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of government contractors.

While in law school, Ms. McHale served as a senior articles editor for the Public Contract Law Journal, published by the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Public Contract Law. She also served as an executive board member of the Government Contracts Students Association, Law Association for Women and Phi Alpha Delta.

Ms. McHale gained experience in bid protests and Contract Disputes Act (CDA) claims as an intern for COFC. She also interned at a boutique litigation firm in Washington, D.C. As an undergraduate and continuing in law school, she completed internships with various nonprofit, advocacy organizations aimed at public policy reform in data rights, internet access and educational equity.
