Overview

José Rengifo is an energy and natural resources attorney in Holland & Knight's Bogotá office. Mr. Rengifo focuses on constitutional and administrative litigation, as well as international and commercial arbitration. He has a particular emphasis in controversies related to investments, infrastructure and energy law.

Mr. Rengifo is well versed in international arbitration, constitutional and administrative law, and complex litigation regarding, but not limited to, energy and environmental disputes. Particularly, he has participated in disputes regarding concessions, environmental permits and licenses, as well as arbitration conflicts regarding engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts and power purchase agreements (PPAs). Likewise, Mr. Rengifo has in-depth experience in class actions and constitutional injunctions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Rengifo served as a law clerk before the Constitutional Court of Colombia.
