Scott Syverson

Scott Syverson is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Newport Beach and Century City offices. Mr. Syverson represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their businesses, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Mr. Syverson is experienced in representing strategic and private equity buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border business transactions, complex M&A, entity formation and corporate governance, executive employment and compensation arrangements, and day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Syverson was a partner at an international law firm in its Los Angeles and San Francisco offices, where he focused on M&A and private equity transactions.

During law school, Mr. Syverson served as a judicial extern for the Honorable George W. Lindberg of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and he was the executive editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property.
