Aviation attorney Anita Mosner will participate in the 2025 CAPA Airline Leader Summit Americas. Held in the Cayman Islands, this two-day conference will gather global and regional aviation leaders to analyze trends in North and South America, such as U.S. policy shifts and what they mean for airlines. Ms. Mosner will speak on the first day of the event in a session looking at the market for ultra-low-cost (ULCC) and low-cost (LCC) airlines. The panel will compare the North American landscape, where several operators have recently exited, to the Latin American industry, which has experienced rapid growth and record profits. Speakers will debate the reasons for this difference, talk about other trends in the ULCC and LCC sector, discuss whether companies should consider mergers and partnerships with legacy airlines, and predict where new opportunities could be found.
