Mexico’' Energy Regulatory Commission Publishes on Electromobility in Mexico
International business and energy attorneys Rodolfo Rueda, Gerardo Prado Hernandez, Adrián Ortiz de Elguea and Mariana Salinas co-authored an article in The Global Regulatory Developments Journal discussing new administrative provisions on electromobility issued by Mexico's Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). These provisions include periodic reviews, requirements for charging infrastructure and the integration of clean distributed generation power to support electric vehicles (EVs). The CRE also emphasizes interoperability, collaboration with the Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE) and the standardization of smart grid infrastructure.
