PCL Member Spotlight: Amy Fuentes
Government Contracts attorney Amy Fuentes was featured in an American Bar Association Public Contract Law Section Member Spotlight. She described her path to the legal field, including previous roles in contract administration at a Fortune 500 company and a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, as well as discussed her current practice, which covers litigation, counseling, and mergers and acquisitions work. She added that one of the interesting aspects of her section membership has been her work as vice chair of the Small Business & Other Socioeconomic Programs Committee, specifically drafting comment letters on several important small business issues.
"Drafting these comment letters gives such a unique opportunity to work with practitioners across all segments of the procurement industry and to provide recommendations on procurement policy," she said.
