Innovation and technology attorney Samir Patel was quoted in a Boston Magazine article examining the growth and value of artificial intelligence (AI) in the legal field. AI can assist with summarizing documents and completing legal research, but there still are limitations, such as having access to sealed documents and other proprietary materials. It is also important to ensure the information generated by AI is correct. Thus, human oversight is essential. But overall, AI has the ability to help attorneys with tasks and give them more time to tackle complex matters.
“AI is perfectly structured for the legal industry,” Mr. Patel explained.
