Regulation or Prohibition? This Is How AI Should Work in Education
Portafolio
Intellectual Property attorney Danilo Romero was mentioned in an article published by Portafolio about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education in Colombia. Mr. Romero highlighted that the use of AI in the educational framework has the potential to reduce technological gaps between countries. He also emphasized the importance of self-regulation in the initial approach to AI and the need to manage access to connectivity tools for its effective implementation.
"From the perspective of the use and access that students may have, the abuse of intellectual property and others will continue to be a current matter of how the texts produced and others have to respect the already existing laws. That is why the issue of self-regulation will always be fundamental, at least in the beginning of the approach to artificial intelligence in a deeper way," he said.
