During his first term, Mr. Sonberg focused on increasing efficiency and collaboration across the firm's U.S. and foreign offices. He also presided over the firm's expansion in Colombia and the Middle East and impressive growth in the area of lateral recruitment.
During the firm's recent partner meeting in Orlando, Fla. at which he was elected, Mr. Sonberg stated, "Our firm is stronger than it has ever been – financially, professionally, and institutionally. And we continue to receive high marks from our clients for the quality and value of our client service."
Mr. Sonberg stated that he plans to focus on developing the firm's client base, empowering the next generation of firm leaders, and expanding into new markets and practices during his second term.
