Holland & Knight Expands Charlotte Office with Addition of Brian Cary and David Jacobs
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 1, 2017) – Holland & Knight has added real estate Partner Brian Cary and financial services Partner David Jacobs to its Charlotte office. They were both previously shareholders at Winstead PC in Charlotte.

Mr. Cary has extensive commercial real estate experience spanning retail, shopping centers, office, industrial and other facilities. He regularly represents real estate developers, industrial and retail clients, asset managers and financial institutions.
Mr. Jacobs focuses his practice on various financing and derivative transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, cross-border transactions and real estate investment and development transactions. He has extensive experience as lead counsel for finance, corporate and real estate transactions in both the U.S. and Europe.

Mr. Cary received his J.D. degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. Mr. Jacobs received his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Holland & Knight's Charlotte office, which opened in 2016, is home to eight lawyers focusing on financial services, litigation, tax, business law and real estate.
