Holland & Knight Represents Signal Point Systems, Inc. in Acquisition by Mobilitie

Tysons, VA (May 12, 2022) – Holland & Knight acted as legal adviser to Signal Point Systems, Inc. in its agreement to be acquired by Mobilitie. The deal closed on May 11.

Mobilitie is a BAI Communications company and the leading wireless infrastructure provider in the United States. Signal Point is a provider of telecommunications infrastructure primarily to U.S. military bases. The acquisition unites both telecommunication industry leaders to accelerate 5G and broadband connectivity for members of the armed forces and their families living and working on base.

Holland & Knight Partners Adam August and Ashley Plemons led the firm’s representation. Associates Andrew Erickson and Cooper Littlejohn provided assistance.

As part of the transaction, Partner Antonia Tzinova and Associate Libby Bloxom represented Signal Point before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) in obtaining approval of Signal Point’s acquisition by Mobilitie, which is owned and controlled by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
