Holland & Knight Named Law Firm of the Year at 2022 Americas M&A Atlas Awards
NEW YORK (January 23, 2023) – Holland & Knight was named the USA Law Firm of the Year at this year’s Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by the Global M&A Network. Two transactions closed by Holland & Knight were also named “Deals of the Year.” The M&A Atlas Awards recognize the achievements of influential dealmakers and leaders, outstanding firms and the best growth-delivering transactions of the year. The awards ceremony was held on Jan. 19 at the Metropolitan Club.
- The sale of iCare Health Solutions to VSP Vision Care from Pine Tree Equity Partners was named USA Deal of the Year. Holland & Knight Partners David Barkus and Jordan Taylor represented Pine Tree Equity Partners as the majority owner and seller of portfolio company iCare Health Solutions in the deal.
- PepsiCo's strategic distribution agreement and investment into Celsius Holdings was named Americas Corporate Deal of the Year. Holland & Knight Partners Tammy Knight and Alvin Johnson represented Celsius in this transaction involving a $550 million cash investment by PepsiCo for preferred stock in Celsius.
