Holland & Knight Advises Seva Dental in Formation, Series of Acquisitions and Credit Facility to Expand Platform

NASHVILLE (June 5, 2024) – Holland & Knight advised Seva Dental, an emerging, rapidly growing dental support organization (DSO), in a series of acquisitions in recent months to establish and significantly expand its platform in Michigan and Ohio.

Headquartered in southeastern Michigan, Seva Dental was formed by renowned operators Brandon Halcott and Naimish Patel in November 2023 with help from Holland & Knight attorneys and is focused on supporting dental practices that serve patients with comprehensive dental care in a private dental practice setting.

Transactions that Holland & Knight advised Seva Dental on in 2024 include:

• the acquisition of Bruce J. Kloster D.D.S. Inc., an Ohio-based dental practice
• the acquisition of Dental Care of Waterford, a Michigan-based dental practice
• the acquisition of Edward F. Posluszny D.D.S., an Ohio-based family dental practice
• the acquisition of Mikula Dental, a Michigan-based dental practice
• the acquisition of Grandville Family Dental Care, a Michigan-based dental practice
• the closing of Seva Dental's new credit facility through Village Bank & Trust (a Wintrust Community Bank), which will facilitate continued growth and expansion through additional transactions that are in the pipeline

Holland & Knight's representation of Seva Dental was led by Partner David Marks and Associate Becca Rosen on all structuring and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) matters.
