Holland & Knight Welcomes Corporate Partner Tal Hacohen in New York

NEW YORK (December 11, 2024) – Holland & Knight continues to strengthen its leading Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group with the addition of Tal Hacohen as a partner in New York. Mr. Hacohen advises industry-leading domestic and multinational public and private companies in the fields of technology, life sciences, municipal services, financial services, specialty manufacturing and energy, among others. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Hacohen was a partner at WilmerHale.

Mr. Hacohen's work encompasses strategic transactions of every scale and structure, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and debt and equity financings. He also regularly advises boards of directors, shareholders and other stakeholders in all aspects of corporate, partnership and limited liability company (LLC) law, including corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters.

As part of his corporate practice, Mr. Hacohen offers strategic, solution-oriented advice to early- and growth-stage companies, with a particular focus on Israeli technology companies. He often serves as outside general counsel to early-stage companies, assisting with general corporate matters, capital raising transactions, corporate governance and overall business strategy.

Mr. Hacohen also has an active pro bono practice and is a member and volunteer with local organizations and nonprofits, including Street Project of New York, New York Cares and University Community Social Services' "The Meatloaf Kitchen."

Mr. Hacohen earned a J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law and a B.B.A. degree with distinction from Emory University. He is fluent in Hebrew.
