Limitations of Law 2444 of 2025

Litigation attorney María Paula Zarco wrote an article for Lexir analyzing Colombia's new Law 2444 of 2025. This law amends the country's Consumer Protection Statute to allow the use of an impleadment in the tourism sector. Ms. Zarco explains that the law limits the right to due process of producers, in industries other than tourism, by not allowing them to exercise impleadment against other agents that are the ones truly responsible before consumers.
