Holland & Knight Named Americas Private Equity Law Firm of the Year, Honored with Two Deal of the Year Awards at 2025 USA M&A Atlas Awards

NEW YORK (February 12, 2025) – Holland & Knight was recognized as Americas Private Equity Law Firm of the Year at this year's USA M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by the Global M&A Network. In addition, two transactions closed by the firm's attorneys were recognized as "Deal of the Year." The M&A Atlas Awards recognize the achievements of influential dealmakers and leaders, outstanding firms and the best growth-delivering transactions of the year.

Holland & Knight advised lower middle-market private equity firm Madison River Capital in its $190 million recapitalization of and $70 million equity investment in JDC Power Systems, a leading electrical systems integrator exclusively serving the data center market, which was named USA Private Equity Deal of the Year (Middle Market). The firm's representation of Madison River Capital was led by Partners Christopher Froelich and Aaron Slavens. Previously, the transaction was recognized by M&A Advisor as the Utilities Deal of the Year.

Another Holland & Knight representation was named Americas M&A Deal of the Year. A team led by Partners David Cole and Andrew Erickson represented Diné Development Corporation, a Navajo Nation-owned information technology (IT), professional and environmental services company, in its acquisition of Spin Systems, Inc., a Virginia-based data management and analytics company.
